One question

Is this wiki...like...fully covering Mario, Yoshi, and Wario? I just assumed we were only covering them where they relevant to the Donkey Kong franchise. Kaptain Skurvy (talk) 15:58, May 11, 2025 (UTC)

Yeah, and I have ideas on how to do it from a slant of tiers of relevance. For example, let's say Snowballs appear in Donkey Kong franchise and Mario games. We'd have a main article for Donkey Kong content and separate sections for Mario titles where Donkey Kong does appear. And then sub-page for Mario and related where he does not. I need to draft up how that'd look.

Donkey Kong was the starting point, despite the consumer perception being adjusted to Super Mario. Also consider different wikis and different policies.

I think Mario/DK/etc is so complex that there's not one true "canonical" scope. The German Super Smash Bros. wiki on Fandom merged into the German Mario Wiki there. The Spanish Mario wiki on Fandom forbids DK coverage. I disagree with SSB merging with Mario Wiki, but the point is that sometimes the scope is just relative to community policy.
